Information and Communication Technology

In order to support teaching, research, and administrative activities for all Colleges’ Departments, Units, and Sections in the College, the management established the College of Health Sciences and Technology, Kaltungo ICT Directorate, formerly known as the College Internet Café, in the early 2000s. In addition, the ICT was created to carry out College strategic priorities, enable and support administrative leadership, staff cooperation, and cross-organizational initiatives, and enhance the research and development process.

FACILITIES

Information and communication technology (ICT) utilization is a useful tool to improve learning and resource access. To readily give education at a higher level and acceptable norms, GSTCHSTK extensively invested in ICT. The ICT Directorate oversees the following facilities, which are owned by GSTCHSTK.

  • The Directorate has 18 desktop computers
  • The center handles student registration
  • The center also handles staff and student training
